I think I need to add a new category to the blog to track the Cornerstones of buildings. Some of the ones I’ve found around the city tend to be gorgeously set, like this roman style chiseling.
Numerals that drop below the baseline are always classy, for me. Like the 9 in 1931.
Tourist Tip: You’d be surprised how many churches are still standing amongst the towers in Manhattan.
